To provide the space needed, HASTCO created a design plan that included remodeling the existing building and adding on to it. The result featured a larger showroom, parts department, and sales offices, as well as a bigger service area with more room for wash bays, tools, oil storage, and more. HASTCO’s team installed six inches of insulation in the roof and four inches of insulation in the walls to enhance energy efficiency. Waste oil produced from the shop fuels the boilers for the in-floor heating. Added ramps and stairways connect the new and existing buildings to meet ADA standards. Finally, a total of seven electric overhead doors ranging from 20′ x 18′ to 30′ x 20′, were installed to accommodate larger equipment.
