When Concordia Tractor outgrew its space, the John Deere dealership called on HASTCO’s experts to design and build a massive retail and service center capable of accommodating an expansive showroom, large parts inventory, special tool storage, multiple service bays, and offices. Where possible, the owners wanted to add energy-efficient solutions. Starting with a complete pre-engineered building, HASTCO’s designers added a distinctive wedge with a curved metal roof, brick accents, and large windows. An open workspace features multiple 5-tin bridge cranes to accommodate large and heavy equipment. The eco-friendly design includes LED lighting and multiple high-efficient HVAC systems. Waste oil produced from the shop fuels the in-floor heating system with a natural oil boiler, serving as backup. Insulated walls separate the service area from the showroom and offices, keeping the spaces more comfortable and providing an efficient sound barrier.
