Founded in 1976, HASTCO Construction began in Emporia, Kansas, as a regional builder respected for its exceptional quality and service. Today, we carry on that legacy here in Topeka, Kansas, where we serve clients across the country.
We bring together an experienced team of 15 design and building professionals, including project managers, construction superintendents and contracted licensed architects, engineers and trade experts.
Before start, we learn about you, your business and your needs. Shelby Kuehler
Vice President
HASTCO Construction Vice President Shelby Kuehler has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in construction, including serving as tradesman, project foreman and construction superintendent as well as metal building roofing contractor. He has experience with eco-friendly construction strategies, including building to LEED Platinum and Gold certification standards.
At HASTCO, he participates in construction project development and oversees project estimates, organization, scheduling and implementation. In addition to monitoring project objectives, quality control and personnel performance, he works with clients to quickly resolve any issues with completed projects.
Shay Kuehler
President
HASTCO Construction’s President of field operations Shay Kuehler has over 15 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, including previously owning a door and window installation business. Shay oversees all aspects of construction field operations, from employee and subcontractor activities to customer relations. He plans, organizes and staffs key positions for specific project requirements.
In addition to participating in construction project development and overseeing project organization, scheduling and implementation, he supports and monitors project objectives, quality control and personnel performance. Shay maintains a comprehensive knowledge of all projects in order to answer client questions and resolve issues as needed.
